iPhon3N3wz

There is a really cool new application out for the iPhone called movement! Did you ever wanted to organize your applications but ended up messing up your pages? Do you have many applications and it takes a while for you to organize them one by one? Well don't worry because this application came to the rescue! Movement allows you to rearrange all of your iPhone or iPod touch applications from your Mac.

Many of the iPhone and iPod touch users wanted an application like this! well now you have it :) Right now this application is only for Mac users and of course you need a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch.

So if you have a Mac + a Jailbroken device go ahead and get this great application while is free.

This application is still on beta for testing, it looks like it is still a little buggy. Do not expect it to be perfect yet. If you try it and find a bug please report it here.

This great application was develop by Jeff Stieler.

Apple's fears: Google Taking Over the iPhone

iPhon3N3wz

Techcrunch have some interesting contradictions to Apple's Response to the FCC the question here is, was apple lying about everything? Are they worry that Google will take over the iPhone?

Yesterday Apple mention in their statement that they never really rejected Google Voice application but Techcrunch saids that apple is lying.

According to Techcrunch, many sources disclose to them in July that Phil Schiller Apple's SVP said that Google Voice app was or was going to be rejected. Google also confirm this to them later on. So who is lying here?

Apple also went into details explaining that Google Voice alter the iPhone's distinctive user experience by replacing the iPhone's core mobile telephone functionality and the user interface with its own interface for calls, text, and voicemail.

But according to Techcrunch Google Voice app in no way replaces Apple's voicemail function or in any way interfere with the iphone text messaging feature.

There are strong evidence that Apple is lying and they really did rejected the application according to Techcrunch sources.

So what do you think Google will do or say about this on their statement to the FCC?
I can not wait to see what will happen!

Apple Responce to Google Voice App Rejection

iPhon3N3wz

Earlier today Apple was suppose to state the reasons of the rejection of Google Voice App to the US Federal Communications Commission. Apple just published their response to the Federal Communications Commission on the news section at apple.com.

They started off by giving information about the apple store and the iPhone. They stated that the apple store offers over 65,000 applications and customers have downloaded over 1.5 million applications since the apple store open more than a year ago. Apple also includes that "apple has also fostered competition as other companies (e.g., Nokia, Microsoft, RIM, Palm and Verizon) seek to develop their own mobile platforms and launch their own application stores". They also talk about the reviewing process where apple reviews every application submitted to the apple store in order to "protect consumer privacy, safeguard children from inappropriate content, and avoid applications that degrade the core experience of the iPhone". According to apple 95% of the applications submitted are approved withing 14 days of their submission.

Apple has answer six questions in hope to clear out all misunderstandings.

To answer the question why the Google voice application was rejected to the apple store this is what apple said about it:
"Apple has not rejected the Google Voice application, and continues to study it. The application has not been approved because, as submitted for review, it appears to alter the iPhone’s distinctive user experience by replacing the iPhone’s core mobile telephone functionality and Apple user interface with its own user interface for telephone calls, text messaging and voicemail"

To answer the question of whether or not AT&T had anything to do with the rejection of Google Voice app this is what apple said:
"Apple is acting alone and has not consulted with AT&T about whether or not to approve the Google Voice application. No contractual conditions or non-contractual understandings with AT&T have been a factor in Apple’s decision-making process in this matter".
AT&T as nothing to do with apple approving or rejecting applications, apple is the one that gives the final decision.

Apple gave some interesting response to question 6 about the review and approval process. According to apple they have more then 40-full time trained reviewers, at least two different reviewers study the application so the approval can be evenly. More than 65,000 applications and only more than 40-full time reviewers i don't know but i think apple should get more trained reviewers. No wonder why some applications take really long to be approved.

New iPhone Software Modification Pictures

iPhon3n3wz

Everyone love to see what the future will bring to our iPhones. What will change and what will stay the same, what new modifications will come to make the iPhone an even cooler device.

According to Unwired View just today 2 new iPhone application patent surfaced today with some new features that can make the iPhone even a greater device. This

The first iPhone patent app is called "Auto messaging to currently connected caller" This application do some pretty good things. While talking on the phone with your friends or family or anyone else you can write them an SMS or at the same time send them an E-mail, address book contact info, or any other file.

Come on this is a pretty good feature and hopefully it will be added to the iPhone. It's pissed people off to have to hang up the phone just to send a contact info or send other files. So i know many people will be looking forward to this.

The second iPhone patent app is called "Speakerphone Control for Mobile Device" apple is looking for ways to turn on the speaker automatically with this application using sensors. Sounds really cool right :) I would already like to see this new application up 0n the iPhone.

P1nksn0w for the iPhone

iPhon3n3wz

Since T-Mobile now is blocking all sidekick data plans for the iPhone many users have to switch their plans to get internet on their device. Many of those users are not really happy with T-Mobile. Me my self change my sidekick data plan, i had it for almost 2 years already :( to the $34.99 one stupid me :) so i could of get a little bit of internet on my iPhone.

But according to Limited Edition iPhone, they are trying to gather information from all the sidekick data plan users so they can build an application to make the device work. If you have information that can help head over to their page and let them know.

According to them the name of this new application will be "p1nksn0w". Pink because that's the official color of the T-Mobile logo.

They had a temporal solution to solve the problem with the sidekick data plan using a VPN that served as a proxy for iPhone users, but T-Mobile soon catch this and it does not work anymore

The T-Mobile's sidekicks are using some type of proxy and a port, and that is what this people are looking for. If they can get the proxy and the port, they can implement an easy to install application via cydia to help everyone out here in the US.

They are asking everyone to post links all over the internet to spread out the word. Hopefully they will come out with a solution to this soon. Please help out!
